Harbor Health Services Retail Pharmacy Services

Harbor Health operates two retail pharmacies located right on health center premises at the Geiger Gibson Community Health Center and the Neponset Health Center.

We invite our patients and the community to fill/refill their prescription medications at any of our pharmacy locations. As a Patient Centered Medical Home, adding retail pharmacy to a multitude of services offered significantly improves the care we provide. Besides the convenience of leaving the health center with medications in hand, there are also some financial benefits available to our patients.

Benefits of becoming a health center patient and filling your prescriptions at the on-site pharmacy

  • Fast  – At the time of your visit ask your provider to call your medication in to the On-site Pharmacy and soon after your visit is over your medication should be ready for you.
  • Convenient – Depending on your insurance and type of medication, you can pick up a 3 month supply for most of your prescription medication.
  • Cost Effective – As a current patient of the health center and depending on your insurance, filling your prescriptions at our On-site Pharmacy may cost you less than what you currently pay.
  • Safe – As a current patient of the health center, your medical record links directly with our pharmacy computer system so we have accurate, up-to-date information about every prescription your doctor writes for you leaving NO room for mistakes. The pharmacists are members of the health center clinical team and can quickly contact your provider should questions arise about your prescription.
