This six-week workshop teaches you new skills for taking care of your diabetes or high blood pressure in the community and at home. You will learn about eating healthy, solving problems, ways to relax, and more My Life My Health is offered in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.

Fall Prevention Classes , Home Visits

    • Do you feel worried or shaky when walking or standing? Did you fall in the last year? Do you worry about falling? If you answered yes to any of those questions and are 65 years or older, you can take one of our Fall Prevention Classes and you may also qualify to have a Community Health Worker visit your home to help lower your chance of falling.

Home Blood Pressure Monitoring Program If you have high blood pressure you may be able to sign up for our home blood pressure monitoring program. When you sign up you will be given a free blood pressure machine to help you see your blood pressure numbers at home. This program can help you learn what foods and drinks make your blood pressure numbers go up so you can make easy changes to lower your blood pressure.

Pediatric Asthma Clinic

      • Many kids in Boston have pediatric asthma. Harbor Health wants to help your child be as healthy and active as possible. We now offer a weekly clinic for you and your child to talk about your child’s asthma and how they can control it even better. During the clinic you and your child will meet with a pediatric asthma nurse and clinical pharmacist. There is no charge for these visits and they do not replace your visits with your current provider. They are additional support for your family that our clinic is pleased to offer. To learn more about them or to schedule your child, please call 617-533-2230.
