Title: The Neponset Health Center & Geiger Gibson Community Health Center to be at Fenway Park August 27

Description: The Neponset Health Center and the Geiger Gibson Community Health Center will be at Fenway Park on Friday August 27th. The health centers will be particiapiating at the Boston Public Schools Middle O! Orientation event for all incoming middle school aged students. It is a great event that will help the students and their families get ready for the start of school. In addition to school orientation the students and their families will be able to visit the Neponset Health Center & Geiger Gibson Community Health Center table to receive information on the services that the health centers offer to their patients and the communities.

Title: Neponset Health Center will be at Le Vu Lang Pho Hien Temple
Location: 155 Quincy Avenue
Description: The Neponset Health Center will be at the Le Vu Lang Pho Hien Temple on Sunday August 22nd from 10:30am-1:30pm. The health center will be at the temple to provide health insurance information for those who either need assistance getting enrolled in one of the State subsidized health insurance plans or for those who questions about their current coverage. Title: 11th Annual Countdown to Kindergarten Celebration at the Boston Children’s Museum

Description: Geiger Gibson Community Health Center & Neponset Health Center will be at the Boston Children’s Museum on August 31st from 5:00pm-7:00pm. This event is FREE for all of the City of Boston’s youngsters attending kindergarten this Fall. Geiger Gibson and Neponset Health Center will be hosting a table to offer information to parents about receiving any medical care that their whole family may be in need of, especially the little ones that will be attending kindergarten. The kids all need to have start of school physicals and make sure their immunizations are up to date. In addition to the medical services that both health centers offer we will also be on hand to assit families who may need health insurance. We offer a FREE service to all to help them navigate the process of enrolling in one of the State insurance plans. Description: The Neponset Health Center will be participating at the Channel 7 Health & Fitness Expo on Sunday June 13th. This a FREE all day event from 10:00AM-4:00PM. We will be at the Neighborhood Health Plan booth and will be offering FREE cholesterol and glucose testings/screenings in addition to great giveaways. Title: Neponset Health Center‘s Food Pantry is Open
Description: The Neponset Health Center’s Food Pantry is open every Tuesday between the house of 9 am-11 am. This service is open to anyone with a valid I.D and proof of some sort of state assistance (i.e. MassHealth, SSI, DTA, Housing, etc.). The food pantry is located inside of the Neponset Health Center on the first floor towards the back parking lot.
