Media Guidelines

The Marketing Department invites the media and media representatives to contact us with your needs. We are looking forward to assisting you with any assignments whether you need to cover a story, follow up on a media alert or interview a Harbor Health expert. Please give as a call and will make every effort to get you the information you need, connect you with the right staff member or simply assist you in your visit to one of our facilities. Because confidentiality of our patients and staff is of utmost importance to us, we ask you to follow the guidelines below:

• Permission should be obtained directly from any of the following: Health Center Executive Directors; the Elder Service Vice President and Executive Director; or the Marketing Director, to videotape, photograph staff and patients and/or broadcast on any of our Harbor locations. A written consent signed by the patient(s) and/or staff must be obtained prior to video, broadcast taping or photography. Written consents (MC- Written Consent Form to be Photographed/Videotaped for PR Purposes) can be made available by the marketing department.
• While on Harbor Health premises the media must be accompanied by a marketing representative or a designated HHSI division staff at all times.
• Anyone entering Harbor Health premises with a recording device (voice and/or image) must be accompanied by a marketing representative or designated Harbor Health staff.
