Alice Mui, NP

Alice Mui is a certified nurse practitioner at Geiger Gibson Community Health Center. She is a Regis College graduate and offers primary care to all ages.

She focuses on primary care and prevention and offers LGBTQ and transgender care. She likes to provide patient-centered and inclusive care to all of her patients!

Outside of the clinic, Alice loves to travel.

John O’Brien, DO

Dr. John O’Brien is a board-certified family doctor at Geiger Gibson Community Health Center. He is also an Instructor of Family Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. O’Brien provides full-spectrum primary care for all ages. His care includes osteopathic manipulative treatment and a wide range of office procedures.

He provides care in both English and Spanish. He takes a holistic and understanding approach, meeting each patient’s physical, mental, and social needs with empathy and kindness.

Dr. O’Brien has a medical interest in addiction medicine. His interest in health policy research and advocacy centers on enhancing coordination of safety net programs to promote improved health outcomes for families in underserved communities.

His father was raised on Pope’s Hill in the Neponset neighborhood of Dorchester. His mother grew up in South Boston on F and 4th. Both came from immigrant families who experienced poverty. He is grateful to be a part of the medical team at Geiger Gibson to serve the neighborhoods that supported his family’s success!

Away from the clinic, Dr. O’Brien spends his free time with his four young children. He also enjoys playing and watching most sports.

Caroline Mullin, MD

Dr. Caroline Mullin is a board-certified family doctor and Medical Director at Geiger Gibson Community Health Center. She is also Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine (BU CASM). Dr. Mullin provides full-spectrum primary care for patients of all ages, with a focus on maternal-child health. Dr. Mullin also practices inpatient obstetrics and newborn medicine at Boston Medical Center.

She provides care in both English and Spanish. She aims to meet the medical and social needs of all of her patients!

Dr. Mullin directs Boston University’s Maternal Child Health Elective at BU CASM. Her clinical interests include pregnancy management, breastfeeding medicine, and reproductive health. Her research interests include hypertensive disease of pregnancy, breastfeeding promotion, and newborn sepsis risk management.

She enjoys practicing yoga regularly and is an avid downhill skier.
