Meet the Women’s Health Team
Our board certiﬁed OB/GYN doctors, nurse practitioners, and certified nurse midwives look forward to caring for you!
Dr. Evans graduated from Wellesley College and The George Washington School of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed her residency in Ob/GYN at Tufts Medical Center. She joined Neponset Health Center in 2015 and continues to work at Tufts Medical Center. She has an interest in family planning, contraception, abnormal pap smears, minimally invasive surgery, abnormal menstruation. Dr. Evans enjoys traveling, local art and music, and spending time with her husband and their daughter.
Dr. Nandi is an OB/GYN resident physician who recently joined the Women’s Health team! We will share more information soon.
Dr. Schultz is a OB/GYN resident physician who recently joined the Women’s Health team! We will share more information soon.
Allison Foley is a women’s health nurse practitioner. She graduated from Boston College with a Master’s Degree in Nursing. She has been at Daniel Driscoll – Neponset Health Center since 2003. Allison has a background in labor and delivery and is interested in promoting healthy pregnancy behaviors, nutrition in pregnancy, group prenatal visits, and family planning. Allison enjoys the beach, cooking /eating, traveling, exercising and spending time with her husband and three young children.
Melissa Capotosto is a women’s health nurse practitioner. She graduated from Villanova University and Boston College. She has experience in Labor and Delivery, Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Obstetrics/Gynecology. Melissa is also a nursing professor at Boston College where she teaches courses in maternal/child health and women’s health. In her free time, Melissa enjoys taking barre classes, watching “The Bachelor”, college basketball (go Wildcats!) and interior decorating. Melissa is board certified by the NCC.
Amy Baron, CNM, ANP-bc, is a certified nurse midwife. She graduated from Boston College (MSN) and Simmons college (BSN). She attended Emory University for her post-master’s education in nurse-midwifery. Providing women’s health care for over 25 years in the Boston area, her specialties include well women OB/GYN care, postpartum and breastfeeding support, family planning, as well as the evaluation and treatment of the menopause. When not providing women’s health care Amy enjoys time with family and friends, cooking, tennis, gardening and hiking with her chocolate lab, Henry.
Tarcia Edmunds is a certified nurse midwife who recently joined the Women’s Health team! We will share more information soon.
Raquel Vargas-Vila is a certified nurse midwife who recently joined the Women’s Health team! We will share more information soon.
Convenient Sexual and Reproductive Health Services
Our women’s health team offer in-person and virtual care appointments.
In-person appointments take place at Daniel Driscoll – Neponset Health Center. The health center is located at 398 Neponset Avenue in Dorchester.
Our lab and pharmacy are located at the health center. Interpreters are available to help at your appointment.
